Snowbasin Military Pass - Huge price increase? More Blacked Out Dates? Limits on the number of tickets sold? We've been looking forward to seeing what Vail Resorts has to offer with the 2022-23 Epic Pass after a season marred by crowds, understaffing, parking issues and more at many ski areas.
We finally got an answer, and to make a long story short, no major changes. Travel passes are associated with your business, not individuals. This allows you to distribute subscriptions to employees, customers or suppliers. Distribution of subscriptions is the responsibility of the company.

This winter, Snowbasin Resort continues its long-standing partnership with Epic Pass. Epic Pass holders receive a limited number of days at Snowbasin Resort, while Premier Pass Snowbasin holders receive an unlimited 50% discount at Vail-owned and operated resorts.
Park City Military Discount
To learn more about the Epic Pass, visit www.snowbasin.com/epic Park City. Daily fare is approximately $259 per person. They do offer a military discount on their tickets, but it is offered through the Epic Pass system.
The military discount also applies to season tickets only. Day tickets are not included in the discount. But with the military discount on the Epic season pass, it's only $159 per person. For military families who love skiing, this is a huge discount!
The more days you can ride, the higher the prices for lift tickets. Multi-day ski lift tickets are always the right choice. Check out the Ski City Super Pass for multi-day passes to four resorts: Cottonwood, Alta, Snowbird, Brighton and Solitude.
Essentially, a ski pass is a ticket that can be scanned electronically at various ski resorts. A ski pass is what gives you access to the lifts that take you to the ski resort. Each resort has its own ski pass, meaning you have to buy a ticket for each resort (unless you want to buy a ticket for several resorts).

How Do Ski Passes Work?
For the 2022-2023 season, the price of the Epic Pass has increased, but only slightly. And in addition to the additions Seven Springs, Hidden Valley and Laurel Pa. acquired midway through the 2021-22 season, Sun Valley and Snowbasin are transitioning to Icon, expanding Epic Day Pass options and a new EpicFlex monthly payment plan that allows skiers to cover costs.

Yes, Sun Valley offers discounted lift tickets for active duty military and retirees and their spouses and eligible dependents (18 and under). Active duty military members are eligible for a 50% discount off the daily lift ticket price for adults, while seniors and veterans are entitled to a 30% discount off the daily lift ticket price.
This ticket must be purchased in person at the Sun Valley Ticket Office and military ID must be presented at the time of purchase. With lift ticket prices set to increase as the date approaches, this means there are fewer options for hot deals today.
This is complemented by better hurricane forecasting, which means more on-demand pricing than almost any other industry. Let's be honest, who doesn't want to kill that perfect powder day in Utah. And as more day tickets are sold, demand increases and prices rise.
The Earlier You Book The More You Save
Utah is a beautiful state, and that beauty continues even in the winter. With dozens of ski resorts available in Utah, it can be difficult to decide which one is the most cost-effective, especially for military families.
There are many Utah ski resorts that offer great deals and can save you (and your family) money this winter. During the ski week, demand is generally lower and the cost of the lift ticket will be reflected in the lower fares.

If you can commute from school, to work, or to work remotely, you can save a few dollars. If you're planning on skiing this weekend, especially the weekend, do it now. All Armed Forces Salute tickets are limited to 6 tickets per member of the military (active duty, retired, 100% disabled veteran, reserve, coast guard or national guard).
Please note that couples are not considered separate eligible visitors. Some resorts will offer a military discount on a day/week pass, but most do not; Military discounts are often only offered on season passes, so be careful when deciding which Utah ski resort you want to visit this winter.

There is none. The 15 Day Plus Pass is valid for 15 days of skiing/skiing (no blackout dates) plus a 50% discount on one-day lift tickets (tickets at window rates) after 15 days of ski/skiing pass holders.

For the 2021-2022 season, the early/late ticket is valid from opening day to 12/12/21 and from 3/18/22 to closing day. For the 2022-2023 season, the early/late ticket is valid from opening day to 12/15/22 and from 3/19/23 to closing day.

For children ages 6 to 11, tickets can be purchased for $150. Sun Valley and Snowbasin will be part of the Icon Pass for the 2022-23 season. Icon Pass holders will receive unlimited access for seven days at Sun Valley and Snowbasin.
Icon Pass holders can head straight to the lifts to start skiing or biking, no need to stop at the ticket office. Icon Base Plus ticket holders will receive up to five days of holiday blackouts at Sun Valley and Snow Basin.

Solitude Military Discount
Last week, Vail Resorts took a major step in the right direction by addressing the understaffing problem, perhaps the most pressing problem, keeping lifts and terrain closed and skier services not operating at full capacity. By raising the minimum wage to $20 an hour (a 30 percent increase) and other initiatives to attract and retain workers next season, the company hopes to return skiers' generosity.
The pass has no blackout date. Includes lift access in summer 2021 and winter 2021-22. As a bonus, if you buy your pass now and pay it in full, you can use it until the end of the current ski season.
